I used Mapei Renovate in a cafe just before christmas. It was a fair area all existing ceramics. Degreased it then neat primed it, screed then reprimed at 4:1 before fitting the Karndean. One of the best outcomes we've had :)

The ardex tech guy I met on the demo said on Ashpalt an ceramics don't prime it will stick great. I stick did but didn't on part of the room to see. I put na on a loose tile an sone dpm as well. The dpm stuck good too.
