Keep the door saw in the van all the time so mainly use that on doors. Sometimes use a plane hooked up to my hoover.
I've got a plunge saw and rails but only put it in the van when doing border work.
Most plinths I cut with a hand saw.

Ive got a makita circular saw, and an electric planer. depends on how much needs taking off really, but the circular saw is much faster and easier. How much do you charge to trim doors lads? I charge £20 a door, then £10 each for any more. Nice little earners!

So what is the best doortrimmer at the moment? mines 30 plus years old and to be honest a bit knackered,I generally pass on the number of a carpenter for door trimming.Always seems a lot of hassle using one.
