£19.99 6mm ply

    Popped into local b&q today and had a look at there ply.
    £19.99 for 8x4 sheet of 6mm.
    Ouch

    Yeah I know but they give you bogeys to carry them to your van. How can you put a price on that?

    And their ply looks like a quaver when u lay it on the floor, they stack it on battens.

    Had some 6mm from cfs last week, absolute crap! Looked like it had wood worm, when I feathered it loads of strips started to come away from the surface.

    I have had rubbish ply from them too.
    There customer service is sh*t.
    Always letting me down, but they are the cheapest.

    Cheap, yes
    But its at a cost imo:rolleyes:
    Always promise the earth, and always fail to deliver...

    One of the CFS guys was telling me a few weeks ago they're currently trying to locate a new manufacturer as they know there have been problems

    Admit the 6mm ply isn't always the best at CFS, I find the customer service at Bristol spot on and my driver's FAB!

    i paid about 18 quid for 8x4 sheet but 9mm from selco.
