Customer left me a list of instructions what not to do today, don't splash latex up walls, don't get dust everywhere, don't make carpet dirty, don't drink all my tea and then left me to it, in my defence she didn't say don't drop my blind in the latex
Remove slat , dispose of You might get away with it. As long as when it fell it did'nt splatter latex all up the wall ! Then you WOULD be in trouble
Luckily it only splashed on window so will flick off in morning I removed it but did tell her about it as would look x10 times as bad if she found out and I tried to hide it she was fine with it and almost cracked a smile about it
I would loved to have seen the look on your face when it fell Joking aside i think its allways best to hold your hands up when something goes wrong. Most customers would then say dont worry about it .
Till you give them the bill. Then its "oh you need to knock off the cost of the replacement blind and fitting"
I must of unclipped it when I moved it to latex behind and just hanging by a fraction of clip then while I was mixing next bucket I saw something out the corner of my eye looked round and there it was sinking into screed haha
Remember something similar happening to me, old people's home after we kept telling the carets they couldn't come in a tidy blonde lady smiled & winked at me to use the drier, so I have in , like the Good Samaritan I am. Said load finished the door popped open and uncle Alberts slipper fell straight in the screed !!
how many of you have returned next day and the postman has posted letters through box for them now to be in your screed?
