Well got myself a start for Monday working for an agency. Never worked for one before, but excited to be back to work. Doing some student accom putting Amtico down. Anyone got any good/bad experiences with agencies. Any feedback would be great.
Amtico in student accommodation, wish I'd have studied there christ. All the students accommodation around here have cheap carpet and vinyl down.
Manny, Roll up whatever time you want, but still put 7am start on your timesheet. Show your face, have a look around the building for a hour, sort the van out for an hour, time for a coffee, walk around the building with cut off roll on your shoulder, back to the van to get your tools, time for lunch.... you get the idea.. Oh at the end of the week, get someone in management who hasn't seen you to sign your timesheet. My record was for 82 hours one week!
if you do that mate at the end of the week i would tell the agency i dont want you any more as your **** and done **** all ,obviously you have been struggling to get work do a honest days work and get on with it and you should have more work off the agency good luck and enjoy.
I like to show people I'm a good grafter, I take comments like that with a pinch of salt. I'm itching to get back to work. I've been helping fit facias, windows etc to make ends meet. This is a joy compared to that. Something I'm quite good at and like doing.
cant be worse than a bloke i met like you say in one day he put one pvc nosing on and two 6 inch makeouts and welded he arrived on site at 7:00am and left at 4 lmao
