Looked at a potential lvt job and the floor is bitumen but there's a large crack right through the middle. What's the best way to treat broken bits? cheers
Yeah think it will be old Ashpalt. It has to come up an get new Ashpalt down. Just incase you don't know when getting Ashpalt put down ask them not to polish it off. That way it has a rough finish so better key for the screed.
Hmm, no it was black. I've got to go back in a week or so to pop the yellow box on it so I'll take a photo.
it can be black also but normally brown. It is a dpm, so if it has cracks it wont be working. Putting a meter down will tell you its dry but where the cracks are it will be wet. You wont be able to get a correct reading off it even if you put meter over a crack. Lets get a photo of two tho and go from there.
