Due to the bad weather we've had recently I didn't realise I brought ice into the house on my shoes. The ice melted and left a pool of water on the my laminate floor. Consequently the laminate floor at the joint has risen slightly. Is there a way of fixing this problem without replacing it or if I apply weight to the floor will it reverse the buckling?

it depends on the quality of the floor but i think it is very unlikely you will be able to do anything with it

laminate as in the MDF backed stuff? If so then the damage will be there for ever. You might be able to get a pro fitter to replace the damaged planks. However if its a small area it may be as cheap to replace the flooring.

    Sorry!

I think that could not be fixed anymore. It already deformed. I suggest that you replace the affected planks and remove the moist, as there is tendency for molds grow.
