    Tramex are good.

Dont forget tho that you need a meter that reads in RH to comply with BS.

I have had a Tramex CME expert for about 5 years, not impressed. At first the batteries ran flat even when switched off, then I had a recall on the probe which Tramex exchanged. The probe is now way out, the pin meter reads 42% WMC continuously and it sometimes struggles reading which probe is attached. I am going to send it back to Tramex again this week, will update.

Maybe I have been unlucky but I do at this point regret not buying a Protimeter MMS.

Anyone thinking of buying a new MMS, wait for a bit as they are releasing an updated version with a new built laser measure as well.
I have a standard discount code from the Amtico course somewhere allowing you to get it for £499 if people want to use it.

Sounds like a bad one mate, never had a problem with mine, if I had bought something over £500 and was not happy with it, it wouldn't stay 2 mins never mind 5 years.
