As posted in chatbox, what's the oldest newspaper you've found when uplifting old carpet?

Or have you found anything out of the ordinary when fitting? (and I don't mean dildos or pornos under mattresses!)

 

I have found them in my mates bedroom as he went on hol an we had to empty the room. not nice

 

Lifted a stair carpet and there was £500 stuffed underneath it about 15 years ago,the old fella had passed away and it was his stash LOL.
Told the lady and she gave us £50 each.
Fitting my dads carpet in his bedroom he had stashed £100 underneath it and forgot about it LOL got £20 hahaha

 

found a dead rat in someones mattress once that wasn't a nice sight.

 

Why does this never happen to me mate? Haha.

 

Found my mate under the carpet on saturday hiding instead of working.
