Just found out both my girls are allergic to wool, so I've got to rip up my westex carpets and replacing them with lvt because the wife hates man made, what a waste of a good carpet.
strange one :? What is the reaction they get? Have they had proper tests to find out they are allergic of going off that when they touch your carpets thats the issue? i ask as i know a lot of stain protection applied to carpets can cause reaction. So lets say your carpet's are stain protected it may be the stain protection and not actually the wool? If it is defo wool then ye, you have to change flooring to some plastic stuff.
It's causing breathing problems, and heavy coughing which has been attributed to the wool causing similarities with asthma.
is that down to teh wool or dust mite? I know dust mite live in fabrics (not just wool, o and when i say i know. Well i dont know the dust mite personally) can cause issues! Looks like hard flooring is what you need mate.
