A mate of mine has a dance studio and she asked me to see if I could fix a spot where the wooden floor has peaked quite badly, the studio was left empty of 2 years and she moved in 6 months ago and it's gradually getting worse. Just wondering if any one know if I could lift and trim the end row of boards to increase the expansion gap to stop the peaking (like laminate) ? This is something I haven't had experience of before but I'd like to help the lass, also she has alot of other areas that will need new floor coverings in the next 12-24 months. Thanks for any help and I'll up load some pictures when I can.
Need to see some pics, but sounds likely to be a moisture issue if it is she'll need to replace it and fix the moisture issue.
