Got a job I was goin to use ardex NA on as its low compression strength I cant use it. Does anyone know another screed that's says on the bag it can be used over old adhesives. uzin gold could be one but not sure on the strength.
Not seen it yet Dan but will tomorrow. It's the school curve job I'm doing. They got the asbestos people in to remove the tiles and think they removed most of the adhesive as well but will check so need a hard screed but there could be a bit of adhesive still on the floor. Got to order screed tomorrow as need it for Friday. So if there is old adhesive down might use uzin gold if I find out the compression strength or maybe green bag. Or might use mapei trade plan as have half a pallet in stock.
Ive been told by another fitter you can't use water based over old adhesive but I'm sure k11 says you can?
I used mapei trade plan over old adhesive yesterday and it was ok. scraped as much of it off as I could by hand. k11 says traces of adhesive so think ur right mate best stick to a latex
