Karndean van gogh Personally I don't like the patches of light planks together but what the customer want they get Karndean knight plank 9mm ply and tarkett tapiflex to classroom
I agree some of the planks are crap undersized bowed etc but I don't find the price to bad for the cheap side of karndean
May have to start another topic for what others pay for there lvt, don't do much different lvt as there's a big karndean design studio here so most people go there then stick with karndean and can't be swayed to other produts
at the end of the day if a customer wants to overspend on a name rather than product it's down to them
Funny thing is taht 10 years ago a customer used to say they wanted Amtico and we used to all sell Karndean saying it a far better priced product. Now we all moan that Karndean is to much and push customers onto another 'cheaper' product. We than all sit here and moan that we dont earn any money, the customer wont pay our rates as our labour is more than the flooring etc. We are killing ourselves off here or more so the manufacture under cutting each other. They should all sell at a fair price and who ever's product is best will sell. It will never work like that tho.
in full agreement price should reflect quality not branding sadly it doesn't, Pergo are much dearer than Quickstep, but I find Quickstep to be the better product, same with carpets always found Westex better than Ryalux but like for like Ryalux is dearer
