Im not sure i like the ebay one Daz. It has two scales which im not familiar with as the one ends to soon and the other ends way to late to what im used to testing too. Also it says accurate to within 3%, when testing from one product to another the max difference you can have is 4% so if this coulod be out by 3% i would be very worried! Daz did it come with a species list to convert between different woods?
I just use it for a quick test then use my hydro meter to take a reading. I am looking for a better one but not as silly money :lol:
i use my aquant to test if the floor is actually damp, then if it is, use the hygromaster to see exactly how damp. together they do the same job as the mms, but would def consider getting rid of em both to have the one machine that does all :mrgreen:

Yes mate, concrete will give a rough measure but need to drill plug or box test for more accurate. Sold my MMS as I found this more accurate
Forgot to say getting a decent one will make its money back in no time, todays job toilet, leak looked dry to customer put meter on and soaking. Customer sees reading on dry part of floor compared to toilet and wants fixed. Uplift chipboard (toilet already out) and replace 4 feet by 2 feet half hour later extra £70 on top of Amtico fitting.
