How do you like to measure your stair nosings? Do you always measure each step or just a random few? Anyone use a laser measure for this? http://www.carpetfittersshoponline.co.u ... s-11-c.asp
I like my nosings over size so I can cut onsite, I had an extendable stair jig made for me when I was last in Philly works a treat takes into account any angle of the stringer, slide it out, lock it, transfer to nosing, mark cut and hey presto perfect every time. Remember the Tile Templater that was posted up on here and everyone who had bought one said it was cheap and broke to easily, well I copied it and had mine also made at the same time out of metal, used it on a few jobs since I've been back and works a treat even found 3 more uses for it.
