Mmmm I have had trouble in the past with games I've purchased for PC with them crashing or not running right and then I take the game back and they say, you need to add one of these sir and one of these but when I bought the PC I told you I wanted play games and you said it would be good for that now I need to buy all these add ons rubbish. I did have this discussion with my son earlier and he said exactly the same as me no impossible Dad the only thing the mouse is good for is accuracy in sniping and that's it, you struggle to control recoil with the mouse, we had a competition at school last year against all the geeks 12 on 12 on cod 4 with LAN from 2 separate classrooms cell phones were banned and guess who won the controllers. As I've been off today no work van in for MOT, I laid out all the controllers on the table and keyboard and was trying to work out what would be the best combination and this is what I came up with tell me what you think, I know you use WASD for player movement so I'm guessing and correct me if I'm wrong to move diagonal you have to push down 2 keys which doesn't give your player much movement, so how about the PS move controller the one with the joystick on it then ditch the one with the ball on it and replace with mouse for aiming and precision. Just also seen a video for COD ELITE a service we are all gonna have to pay for soon to be a part of it more money....
Its a load of cack from what I can make out from the video, its not a game its a add on for the game with some sort of movie theatre so you can post up your best moments and games, map tutorials and general forum for everyone to chat in and exchange tips just another element for the PC users out there to hack, no offence meant gripper with my last remark just an attack on those spotty teenagers who sit there and hack away at everything and spoil all our fun.
you right 2 keys, but I don't have any problem moving not that I have noticed anyway my mouse generally steers me in the right direction. I don't really have much problems controlling recoil, maybe you might notice some difference, I don't know. personnaly I wouldn't use a controller at all, but thats just my preference. the only time I would use a controller would be for race games/sims and even then I can't really get the hang of it but probably better that mouse and kb. 1 thing I would say is that if ps3 did have proper mouse keybaord support I woulld have probably bought one by now, have been tempted many times but the lack of support is always the deciding factor.
I find that strange that it doesn't support it as at the launch they said it would support keyboards and mouses, seems to me like they back peddled and I think they could be missing a trick there.
I think they support it in a sense just not for gaming, I think you can use it for other things, not sure, might be getting confused with xbox. I think if they supported it, they would have to bundle it with the console together with the controllers pushing the price higher, I'm only guessing thats the reason why, other wise they really are missing a trick.
Yeah you're probably right there cause you can surf the Internet, I have one of those little PS ones that attaches to the controller which I very rarely use as it just gets in the way when I play. The PS only comes with 1 controller you want more thats extra a mic thats extra, so they could've done it really. All games start off primarily as PC games as thats the only way to program them then something changes to make it work on xbox or PS. Although I'm gonna let you into a little secret back in Jan I done some work in Microsoft in Reading near to where we were working was this huge room one side had 360's galore the other had PCs galore the sign over the door read Cross Network Testing Area, yes they were testing 360's against PC'S against each other on one network so it was all mixed, all very secret no phones or cameras allowed on site.
Well if MS are planning on supporting Keyboards and mice thats great +1 for them. this would most definately convert a lot of pc gamers and also settle the debaate once and for all controller vs mouse, I can see it now, millions of controller users going and buying their new MS keyboards and MS Mice after getting raped by PC style gaming, total carnage LOL! and MS are quids in again. Not only would MS sell a lot of MS 360 compatible mice and keyboards to existing gamers but millions of new consoles and 360live subscriptions to their new clientel also. (not sure of their network name,360live?)

Anyway gettin back on topic PS Store is back up and I down loaded Space Ace last night who remembers that one at the arcades on a Saturday morning or when ever you went, it was the follow up to Dragons Lair another good one. Although I do seem to remember them being the most expensive games to at 50p a go when everything else was 10p.
Was having a royal nightmare with the playstation store last night. Downloaded the map packs for mw2 Firstly: 10.99!!!!! each map pack! WTF?!? :shock: Anyways, what a total pig getting em downloaded. Its maybe coz im used to the 360 way of it. You d/l it and it installs automatically.. Noooooo, not sony lol Had to d/l each map individually and install each one the same way Wat a stupid inefficient way. Sony sort it out :evil: Rant over :lol:
I rem both them, classic's, wasted alot of pockey money on them My best arcade game by a mile was Kung Fu Master. Was trying to but it in a upright arcade machine years ago for my games room but got married instead :roll:
The free games you get from the store. Burnout which is good takes about 45 minutes to install. Be warned as I sat there waiting.

When you have a big download like a whole game I usually start the download off before i hit the bed and leave the ps3 running it'll shut down after its completed said download, then next morning I switch on and do the install if its a big one its gonna take a while to install to so set it up and leave it running while I go off to work or out it'll shut down once complete. I mean why sit there and wait for it just set it up and go off and do summit else. Been buming the Masters the last few days haven't had any work.
Anyone seen the new trailer for BF3 called Thunder Run its 12 minutes and makes the game look epic can't wait.

Whos up for a round on cod 2nite, ive chipped into a few of your games and been done quite badly. Zombies are much easier to shoot. Il be on after 9:00.
