Had a phone call from a customer asking if it is possible to fit bathroom in Amtico over unfinished resin floor as in not got the final finish polished stage on it. As usual they want it done on the cheap as they fell out with original fitter over money so just wondering if can go straight down without any prep work (will go and have a look next week when have time, but is caberboard floor, ply and screed)

you could also prime and then screed over it with fibre compound.

but as most of the job has been done (resin layed) then would they not be better off having you or someone else finish off the work already been done? It would be cheaper.

If its only a small area and you are not relying solely on this job for the weekly takings, then its probably better to make a few quid (supply only),customers tryin it on with permanent fixings ie LVTs is a no-no me thinks. :geek: :ugeek:
