Well what have you been asked to do in the way of DIY while fitting floorings? I will start- 1- hang pictures! 2- Fit a t.v ariel (the outside bit) 3- GRRRR..... Fit a curtain rail, while doing this someone stole the stereo out of my van! 4- offered some bed action in exchange for free underlay :fart declined this offer! there are loads of random stuff, what about you lot?
I've had the curtain rail thing, had to try and stop a door from swinging shut all of its own accord. Cant think of any more although I'm sure there have been others
i had a job once where i went out to quote and said i would be putting plywood down. The customer miss understood and presumed i was installing plywood instead of the floorboards. They uplifited all the floorboards ready for me :shock: I got to the job to find bare joists ready for me to lay 6mm plywood!
I always carry a box of 2" 8's on the van just in case the plumber or electrician forgets!! Sometimes 200 screws just ain't enough though! To$$*r$
