Alright chaps, have posted on another forum putting a floor down for a customer. Basically underfloor heating put in with sand cement screed 4 months ago and has beed commissioned and is dry (checked MMS) The problem I have is she wants the amtico to be laid the day after the screeding, have explained about the system having to be commissioned from low up to 27 degree over a period of time and then putting down with high temp but wants done straight away. Do you lads have any pictures or official documents showing failures or things especially explaing about hydo pressure as it is a good sized job and don't want to walk away and feel if there is previous evidence they will look at that. Cheers, Brian
Hi, we have a general advice leaflet on how to treat your UFH system before, during and after installation of a wooden floor (don't think there's much difference with the method, precautions for Amtico?
Amtico is treated exactly the same way as wood. Do you have a link to your advice leaflet for them woody?
Yeap, here: http://www.woodyoulike.co.uk/knowwoodufh.html just fill in the form half way the page and it will whizz its way to anyone's inbox.
