Hi signed up a while ago to read whats on here definatly some good posts and topics.need a bit of help ive got to sort out some welds and bubbles on a safety floor tomorrow (not one i fitted)so ive ordered one of those adhesive syringes but the needle looks quite thin and i dont think f44 will push through it.do you have to water it down a bit so it will go through or some other way?thanks in advance for any comments and look forward to helping answer some of your posts.
daz, normally the syrange will come with different needles. Check the plunger (the bit you push it) as its normally a screw top that holds different needles. Best not to water down the adhesive as you will trap extra moister that will try to escape somehow!
His syringe may be of the cheaper type that has no spare needles and is fixed this type is very hard to clean and mantain and is thrown away sooner the the more expensive type. Which in real terms means it would have been better to buy the more expensive version.
hi rugrat your right i brought the disposable type came with a surgical needle on it.i looked at the reusable ones but wasnt sure if it would work for the price about £20 .the screeds all blown which is causing the floor to lift and bubble so have to put in a quote to replace anyway.but decided to try the syringe out and hardly anything came out so waste of money anyway.
Hi Dazza It is why we dont sell the disposable one, we had a look at stocking them, but we could see the problems and left it to others, did not want to upset customers. Nothing worst than purchasing somthing to end up throwing it away.
