    Hello,
I found this website by accident when looking for stair carpet information. Hopefully if someone can give me some advice it would be greatly appreciated.
Sometime in the very near future we are replacing our hall carpet with wood flooring (well good quality wood topped laminate) I would then like to replace the stair carpet. I would like something different and I quite fancy sea grass, but from what I have read it seems to be impractical. We have no pets or children.
By the way I want fitted carpet not a runner.
    Help please
    Sue.

nothing wrong with seagrass if installed correctly.

However it does not wear to well on stairs, but if its only getting light use there should be no problem. There are other products simular like coir that wear very well.
