Bit of weekend chat, a lot of noise around textures & J2 at the moment being the best about, what do other people think?

Personally can’t comment on textures I’ve never had the pleasure to fit it yet.

J2 I’ve installed a fair bit now. Goes together well but I can’t hand on my heart say it goes together better than most others. I do like the colours and prints they do and think they’ve got the nail on the head with the shades and designs! Spoken to a few floor layers one man band set up types and they bought all the samples when they pushed it a year or two ago and then closed there accounts when shops started buying stands. They were told it was to protect stand holders! I can see both sides to the argument but such is business.

Kahrs is still my favourite LVT to install, quality wise.

What’s everyone else enjoying at the moment?

Im fitting a lot of Ambience and Brampton lately, most herringbone and up to now they've been bliss to fit.
They fit together how they should and do have a nice wide varied range.

The Invictus maximus is another of my favourites but dont seem to do as much than I did last year.

You tried the 'simply floors' collection?
Budget but another thats nice to fit.

    Knight tile....well....say no more
Absolutely hate the stuff now, id rather fit Camaro!!

Ive never fitted Kahrs but have heard its pretty decent.

Out the lot I think I enjoy fitting Ambience the most

Never installed Ambiance, Invictus has been getting a lot of stick on certain Facebook groups but I fit metres and metres of the stuff weekly and find it a nice product to fit, only downfall I can see is there Victorian type tile doesn’t usually match up, but it is a print and the price point of it can’t be grumbled at.

knight tile is hands down the second worst LVT on the market, worst would be woodlands from likewise. Not necessarily for how it goes together but from quality point of view!

Amtico again gets a lot of stick, never find it’s as bad as people make out and I install that a few times a month
