Could I ask please if this is considered acceptable. I was not happy with how flooring was fitted around the toilet. Fitter came back to discuss and said that it was only way it could have been done as wc is sat on a slight base.

If it's on a base then all he can do is fit the lvt around it but should have talked options with you before the finish.

I've done a few like this where the customer has had to make do with a thick NEAT Bead of white silicone.

Vinyl sheet isn’t it ? I’d of trim it off as much of the wood and get the vinyl under a bit and silicone it. But best way is take the toilet out and remove the wood and fut the vinyl under it.

The fitter has fitted the vinyl, he’s not a plumber.
