Hi, I popped into my local Tapi and I am thinking of getting Westex Natural Loop for my stairs and landing, and also Westex Palladium for the bedrooms. They said that the the Palladium is a new entry level carpet by Westex, but I have not seen it on the Westex website. Has anyone heard about this before? On the question of underlays, I am thinking of Chromium 9mm for the stairs (victorian) and landings ( I have 4 very young children), but wanted recommendations for the bedrooms. I would like a nice soft lux feel but also good soundproofing for the kids. I am thinking of either Charleston 11 or Plushwalk 12 or should I keep everything at 9mm? Any advice would be much appreciated.
I’d stick with 9mm. But see what the other lads think. We tend to go ambience . Never heard of that carpet.
The loop is really hard wearing and perfect for stairs. Not used palladium yet so cant comment on that one
