Hi guys, new here but been a commercial floor layer for 30 years. just wondering what you guys think is the best grooving tool and grooving blades for Altro or any safety floor? I’ve used a lot of various grooving tools and different blades such as the grooving bars and the U-shap blades for the speed grooved but they don’t last very long and I thing the p-shape grooved tends to gouge the Altro a lot. I was looking at buying the Leister Groovy tool at £200, but it’s almost £50 just for 1 blade and I have no idea how long this would last grooving safety floors. Does anyone have experience with this tool or have any recommendations for a grooved and blade for Altro?
yeah mate I know, well crap... literally get about 6m out of one side before having to turn it over. 90% of my work is Altro based as I have the contract for Wetherspoons and do a lot of their kitchens and customer toilets, so was looking for someone a bit more robust for grooving Altro with.

There an excellent bit of kit I believe they do a cordless one now, which would what I would go for if I were buying new.
