    Hoping to pick some brains,

I've been asked to quote a City Centre coffee shop in bonded LVT likely herringbone. The bit I'm not sure of is the subfloor. It currently has a suspended metal floor with 18" tiles.

The room next door looks to have an installation of LVT on the self adhesive underlay like the uzin/moduleo stuff. We don't hugely like installing patterns on that stuff, so generally use 6mm tile backer boards and screed over with NA. I suggested Jumpax HD but when I spoke to the rep he made a point to state not getting too much liquid on it. Being a busy coffee shop this made me discount it.

The tile backers would need to be put down with a Keraquick adhesive to adhere to the metal so this is adding about £16 per m2 which I think is going to put us well over budget once I add the boards and screed. Hence the need to look elsewhere for options.

Wondering if you guys have ever seen these and if you would have any other go-to stuff I would consider?

You could 6mm ply over it, fixed with a coil nailer or screw gun.
Im doing 150 sq of it at the moment

Thanks for coming back. The customer requested the LVT underlay so we are going to use the Fball prime and fill then underlay over. The installation photo on the Fball site is it being used on the same flooring! :D
