I have had a carpet runner with taped edges installed on my stairs, but I’m having lots of issues with it. 1 I had see the staples where the runner has been secured on the taping - pictures online don’t have staples on the taping - how should it be fixed to avoid this 2 - should it be one long piece of carpet as mine is in sections and so some joins are more visible 3 fraying where there is joins - I think the taping needs to be longer than carpet so the taping fits under next section, is that correct 4 it’s on a stair that turns at the tops - it’s not perfectly square as carpet seems to pull in turn Tried to attach photos but keep getting message saying too large! Any advice welcome thanks
