    Hi Guys
I’ve gone to look at a job today, big hall laid in polyflor 2m wide vinyl wood effect. The customer isn’t to happy with the job as through the vinyl it’s showing everything, it’s like a mirror effect of the subfloor below. It’s been screeded and you can’t see any trowel marks but it just looks a bit wavy. I know some vinyls show everything and other don’t show as much. Is there anything that you can do to the surface of the vinyl to stop it showing so much. It’s got full length windows either side so not ideal.

No. It’s gotta come up. The subfloor is likely miles out of level and they haven’t allowed enough smoothing compound.

    Needs screeding properly!
