To ensure that I get the best finish for my glue down LVT I plan to ply and then screed.

My question is, if I am screeding over the top of the ply, does it still have to be SP101 ply or can it be standard grade ply?

I've used standard 'decent' ply mostly when screeding over the top with a fibre based screed.
Not any old crap though, I always get the decent stuff from my supplier

I’d rather screed over sp101. I think some cheaper stuff can delaminate from priming/ screeding. Depends on the ply. If your asking for warranty purpose than yes I would of thought so. If you get a issue with Amtico or Karndean they will still want to know what type of ply is beneath the levelling compound
