Hi there. Thank you very much for taking the time to read my post. I have recently had some carpet fitted to a property i have just bought. A day after fitted i have seen orange lines and thumb sized spots appear. The next day a have seen more. There lines and marks where not there the day it was fitted. I have contacted the fitters and manufactures but they are not willing to send an inspector. Does anyone know what this could be. Nothing has been done to the carpet since it was fitted.
I’ve never seen anything like that so not sure. That said they should send someone to look at it. You can pay for an independent inspection yourself and ask them to refund if/when it’s confirmed it’s a manufacturing or installation fault.
