Pattern matching for stairs

    Hi guys. I'm looking for a bit of advice with regard to estimating. struggling to get my head around planning for pattern matching on stair carpets. Could anyone help me out with any methods used to measure/plan for the match. Ive heard using graph paper for planning might be a help. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Cheers.

    Just allow the extra for the pattern repeat what ever size it is in the width and the drop. That’s what I do. For all areas
