Having installed laminate I need to fill the gap between the floor edge and a stone fireplace, if i apply a filler there is so much room in the expansion gap it will take loads of filler to fill it up so I wondered if there is a way to only apply the filler to the join between the laminate and the stone sort of a bridge of filler without having to fill the whole of the expansion gap?! Any advice on this would be appreciated!
Is the fire place stone edge pretty straight? I use a same or near same trim usually for them, sort of like an L-shape that sits flat over the laminate edge and up to the fireplace and a tidy tiny bead of clear for that bit of expansion needed of that makes sense

Yes it comes with a track but I don't always use the track itself, I use adhesive like flexyfix/turbo to fix it
I also bought a transition and looking at the plastic screws I cant for the life of me figure out how to fix it in?! Sent from my SM-G965F using Tapatalk
I reckon you're bang on, who in their right mind uses plastic screws, shouldn't have che ked the packaging before buying gand opening, might have to try and get a proper mounting bracket to fit the transition if anyone does them! Sent from my SM-G965F using Tapatalk
