Hi, This is my first post in the group! I have a new 25mm plywood floor. I want to lay LVT over it and had a couple of questions on preparation so I can get a decent finish. The new ply floor butts up to an existing concrete floor and I have left it a couple of mm proud to self level the 2 together. Can anyone recommend a suitable flooring compound to fill in the joins and screw holes? (I was looking at stopgap500) Also, would something like BAL SBR be suitable to prime the plywood prior to applying LVT adhesive? Thanks in advance Jack
Are you intending to screed the whole concrete section? If so then you may aswell flow the whole lot including ply with a fibre reinforced based screed
Thanks for your reply. I was only going to self level the concrete section as the plywood floor is the correct height and I don't have much to play with.

What merit says. By time you go over with the micro coat like you mentioned then you may aswell flow the lot.
Thanks for everyone's replies. There is one issue with floating the whole lot. My floor runs out around 15-20mm over 6m run and I want to keep this slight slope. As funny as it sounds the floor leads to a an external patio door and I want to keep the head height as much as possible. The 20mm is required to make the door sufficient to pass through! If this is the case, would my original suggestion be suitable? Inl realise there's more work involved but I'm happy with that!.
Agree with merit use 4mm or preferably 5.5mm sp101 or fg1 plywood, overlap onto concrete stick and fix and back screed over concrete up to and over the ply for a good finish
