As a self-employed carpet fitter and not working at the moment and confused on the do's and don'ts.

when I back to work will I need to buy a face mask, blue gloves and PPE Clothing
I will love hear from other carpet fitters what they doing about all this ?

    Kind regards
    Steve

Nobody knows yet, looks like it’s still going to be a while before anyone should be back fitting (domestically especially) we’ll have to wait and see what the doctors are recommending then.

Face masks will be a must , Gloves a NO NO , my wife works for NHS , gloves are the worst thing for spreading germs
Wash hands regularly , hand sanitiser before and after each house , if you can sterile wipes on peoples door handles ETC as you leave

As above, face masks and very regular hand sanitising. I’ve been working throughout (council grant carpets in empty homes) and we were given paper body suits which unsurprisingly lasted about half a room before disintegrating! I’m religiously keeping my hands clean/away from my face, and washing my clothes as soon as I’m home and having a shower and so far (touch wood) so good!
