    Hi all,

I was watching the latest Stair Rod UK on fitting a double/Z with an easy shim video yesterday (yes, I’m bored enough to be watching fitting on YouTube!), at 30 seconds in he uses what he calls a “drop checker”. Sorry I can’t post a link as I’m not at 10 posts yet.

I’ve had a look as measuring for drops with a tape is a pain but the closest I’ve found is a crappy looking tyre depth gauge. Anyone know what this is or where to buy one?

    Many thanks.

It wasn't digital for sure, looked like a credit card with a slide out measure in the middle.

Ah that looks better than the crap I found online. I was going to get some new samples so I shall ask if they have any.
    Thank you

They'll give you a few, just tell them you want a few for your staff
