I bought this Rockwood LVT lunar grey flooring for a hall leading into kitchen (google it if you want to see it on Rite Price ) The floor is concrete. 1st fitted from shop (not rite price by the way) turns up with no underlay and says you cannot use underlay with this tile. So phones shop and tells them floor is uneven and needs flattened. Paid a guy who put a screed on in to level. New fitted comes out and says where is the underlay? We explain shop did the above and he fits it. When I walk on it you can hear the boards moving as the guy that was supposed to level obviously did not SO question is SHOULD underlay have been fitted??
Yeah it should have underlay but it’s pretty pointless. You would of been better off sticking it down Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
The Floorlayer should tell you the floor needs to be flat. He then should screed it himself so it’s a flat. yes it’s better to have stickdown then click. If you can go swop it do that. If not you need a thin click underlay which are 1-2mm. don’t use laminate underlay.
