Hello: We did a job with Bamboo flooring purchased at Lowes 2 years ago and decided to also do our bedroom with the same flooring. Well naturally Lowes did not carry it anymore but we did find an exact color match from another store. The problem is the grooves that connect it are NOT at all the same and the flooring has worked itself loose in that area. My question is what is the best "fix" just for this area? I read something about using a pneumatic nail gun for this area, perhaps a hot glue fix or maybe just a larger "transition piece" over the affected area? My concern is if left alone the floor will at some point almost certainly buckle.
If it’s a T&G system it’s supposed to be mechanically fixed to the subfloor not floated. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
