Hi I have recently (at the beginning of December) had the same carpet fitted in the whole house & would like your views on whether it is faulty or roll crush. The carpet shop I purchased it from, which is a small independent shop said that it is normal and it will go & they don't see anything wrong with it. The 1st & 2nd photo's are of two different sections of a bedroom and the 3rd photo is of the living room. I think it looks awful and makes the carpet look dirty.
Give it another month and if it doesn’t go get the supplier and manufacturer to look at it. If you can still see the line it’s a fault in my opinion Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
yes that looks like a roll crush it happens from large rolls there own weight pressing on the bottom of the roll most times they go iv had one down 6 months and not gone the manufacturers replaced it it's all down to correct roll storage sometimes shop sometimes manufacturers do get in writing from the shop if it doesn't go after a period of time that they will replace it
Thank you both for replying. So you think it could eventually go, without doing anything to it? It will magically just disappear. It's been down nearly 2 months now.
I wouldn’t call it magic. More like a unexplainable phenomenon. It might go but if it doesn’t they should replace it Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
