    • Perfect for resilient flooring and conforms to BS 8203:2017
    • Fully engineered board, with no core gaps, no delamination or veneer issues
    • A sustainable engineered alternative to plywood
    • Oil tempered for extra protection against moisture ingress and for a flatter, stronger panel
    • Easy to fix and lay; hard wearing with high impact resistance

I hope the above gives you reasons why you could be open to alternatives

Looks like most stockists are timber merchants.
Most flooring firms would want to add to there order from there distributor, who they would have an account with.
    Is it MDF ?

It is normally more cost effective than most official flooring grade plywoods that conform to BS 8203:2017

It is similar to a hardboard, but denser, pre-conditioned and made specially for flooring , unlike a standard hardboard

Fixing would be the same as for a plywood, it should be fitted as recommended in BS 8203:2017, typical fixings ring shank nails, screw nails or countersunk screws...

In common with other wood based fabricated underlays fixings should be placed at a maximum of 100mm centres around the edge of each sheet, with a fixing line 12mm from the edge and thereafter at 150mm centres throughout the entire area of the sheet.

Hi Adam, I would expect it to be cheaper than SP101 and can now be purchased from Headlam Group
