Looking for a flexi screed that will go over old lvt adhiesive on 9mm ply .will be easier for me to lift the old lvt than the 9mm too for various reasons .I know I can use na but would rather use a flexi if poss .
    Appreaciate your advice again guys

It’s easier to uplift everything that’s just the LVT ?
And you can only screed over adhesive if it’s none water soluble If it’s PS you want to go over that’s water soluble so not a good idea

Can you not just over ply the lot with 3.5mm miss out the up lift ?

Kitchen units are running up both sides of long narrow kitchen and small marble breakfast table sits out halfway it has no height adjustment on the leg . All the kitchen has been built on top . The original subfloor is half concrete / wood . The 9mm ply is over the lot . I’d rather not uplift everything if I can help it . The floor is not level so even if I ply on top I’d want to screed on top again .

    Fare enough I understand
What I’d use then is Tilemaster super 30 it’s a rapid set so less chance of adhesive emulsifying Lay on in 90 minutes It can be used over wood substrates and sticks like s**t to a blanket
Flows nice but obviously need to be quite swift inbetween mixes

If the ply has had a full coat of feather a lot of the adhesive may come off on the back of the tiles!!!

Thanks for your advice again spacey , I was thinking of ultrafloor level it flex never thought of super 30 . The annoying thing about this job is it’s for another retailer that took the job on without giving the prep proper thought .
the guy that does the surveying doesn’t bother doing any investigation.iv been left in the Crap a few times with bad surveys .
It’s only the joins of ply that are feathered I removed kickboards to see joins / ply and lifted a corner tile .

I would get rid of as much adhesive as possible then level it flex. Bag and bottle and a rapid set so should be fine.

Think I’ll be only using bag and bottles over plywood now :(

So that’s the job just taking place tomorrow , I have the level it flex super flex 30 for the job . One question - the fact that adhiesive residue will be on floor should I prime or not
