Ive recently fitted a plank from the Massimo collection, Cherry Oak and its gone all white, like a chalky sheen.
When wet it seems to disappear but appears agin once dry??
    Anyone had this problem?
Ive put an official complaint in to the manufacturer but they're taking the piss responding.

Has the floor been cleaned ?
Has any adhesive been wiped off the floor ?

Have seen something similar once before and it turned out that they had touched up paint work and wiped floor with turps to get rid of overspray ??

My colleague suggests it's either too much abrasion in regards to the cleaning tool, or high alkalinity in the water.

Incorrect use of a cleaning product without doubt.

    A steam cleaner was used.

It looks like there was too much heat from the steam cleaner which has caused the surface layer to go white.
    We call it "Bloom".
I have seen it with fitters trying to warm LVT up to rough it in around toilets with a hook knife.
