If we do use any ps it’s usually f46 or the karndean one. Both no good in my opinion :)

I just use it for tiles with strips as I'm quite slow but beginning to not like it!

Does a wet set not go off though cause tiles with strip is quite time consuming

Tiles with grout line is a pain but soon get into the swing of things. I just crack on with it. Gets a bit messy but always have damp cloth to wipe excess.

Tile & grout I use ke66 - find it less messy than the ke49 when using grout strips

Tile or plank - ke49 Loving this glue at the min, costs more but so what. Use F44 aswell when it's not direct sunlight.

Don't use PS anymore apart from sheet vinyl

Ke49 is a ps/ht. I normally use a ps for tile and strip if no direct sunlight/heat. But normally use 46 I hate ps for the simple fact it gets messy. As spacey said to me. Loads more scribing techniques with a wetset.
And if I do use a ps. I let it go completely off so no transfer onto my tiles. ( not sure if this is right or wrong) but haven’t had any issues to date. I haven’t used the ke49 yet. But love ke66

Yes can be used as a ps but I wet set.
Will try it as a ps one day in a dark room.

So what's the difference with wet setting that and using 66 then

66 is less messy for me because of the fibres in it.
When I use grout strips with 49 I get more mess when putting the strips in.
66 has a 'slush' to it whereas wet setting 49 is pretty loose.

Also when I put the grout strips in I don't always butt straight away, I overlap then when the row is fitted I cut them in. Not always but mostly with the lighter strips. I've seen some shrinkage in the strips before no matter how gently I put them in.

Used to use that eco fix and found it very strong, was tough stuff.

Very decent gear. Tend to do most jobs with 66 these days. But if no sunlight I will try use ps with parquet and tiles with design strips.
