Asphalt standard subflor

    Ok fellas got an asphalt standard subfloor on the ground floor of a care home and the builder wants ploysafe wood fx down in corridors and rooms. After idea s on how to go forwards with this one. Is there a self levelling product which you can screed this sub floor with. Told builder the problems with this type ot subfloor but wants to take gamble with Ardex na. Idiots!!!!!

    Never heard of one of them but if it’s a floor and it’s ashfelt then NA may need and DPM to so NA DPM NA

    Basically it's softer ashpelt.

    Was told that it can expand in hot weather and blow screed.

    Ring Ardex to double check but NA is very soft and bonds well to almost anything so can’t see it being an issue It’s designed for problem subfloors

    Can you use jumpax or smart board and float over it. If it moves a lot I wouldn’t want to bond anything direct to it!
