We have just knocked through our kitchen and dining room full .We are now debating what would be the best kind of flooring. We do not have underfloor heating. But we do have a south facing property with lots of glass and a worried about the UV on the on the flooring. Our builder has recommended engineered timber I'm concerned that we I can't afford it and be what effect the sun will have on it. I was thinking of some kind of quality laminate Karndean or quick step. A flooring guy has suggested moduleo I've seen many negative reviews of Module on the Internet, have you got any experience of this product ? So guys you've laid lots of floors what would you recommend?
What type do you want - wood or tile effect? Do you want smooth or textured flooring? If you like the wood plank then have a look at the van gogh range from karndean or the opus wood from them also. Polyfloor expona/camaro do some nice types. I've fitted a lot of moduleo and the only problem I've had is the light tile range tends to discolour over a period of time especially when there are in the sun. I know all flooring can fade over time but seems moduleo should come with a sell by date. Narrow it down and we can give you more ideas... ie. Long planks, short planks, thin planks.....colours.....you get my drift
