Got a new concrete sub floor which has a damp membrane under and is 100 mm thick and has been down for 5 weeks. I no I can use a epoxy surface dpm on this and wait 24 hrs but was wondering if I could use something along the lines of a a dispertion dpm like ardex mvs 95 just to get it damproofed and screeded on the same day.
No You need to use an epoxy Thats going read off the scale with a hydrometer If you start early doors you could use ardex 1c rapid and screed it in the afternoon
If it's been down 5 weeks and been drying since then you be best doing a test and you could use F78 or Ardex MVS if reading is 90% or lower On tapatalk HD
I had one where it was border line roll on application. Was reading 93% but didn't want to take the risk so ardex 1cr went down instead. Don't risk it if I was you unless you are willing to leave it longer to get it below a safer lower level for mvs. I know mvs is safe up to 95 with 2 coat system but for me anywhere over 90 it gets epoxy dpm.
