Sp101 or fg1

    We've been using fg1 recently as our supplier changed from sp101. I actually think it's better than sp101. Easier to cut and much cleaner boards

    Sp101 isn't what it was when it firsts came out Boards are different weights and the 6mm it inconsistent thicknesses

    I've had some prettt crap sp101. It's different colour to fg1 Daz?

    It's also got a thicker outer veneer that sp101. Looks like it's made to a slightly better standard

    FG1 for me , SP101 has gone proper down the pan . Different weights / thickness / some hard ??

    Some of the 9mm sp101 you can cut with a concave some the core is so hard it kills jigsaw blades

    As with most things they bring out a 'new' product , charge you a bit more (fair enough if it's good!) then once your hooked start messing with it and do you over ! Fingers crossed FG 1 doesn't follow suit ‍♂️
