Hi there I'm looking for a fitter for LVT in my hall and living room. Ideally would like to buy the floor through the fitter too. Was thinking Karndean Da Vinci or Van Gogh but having been pointed to Distinctive through this and other forums, I've ordered samples from there too. Wood effect. Floor is wooden boards and total area is approx 28m2. We're in Bromley in Kent/SE London Really want to find a specialist rather than resort to my builder who is fab but not a flooring expert. Distinctive a great choice btw I would personally recommend m@m flooring contractors in se8 or dw design flooring in margate, your new floor in gravesend, any of those 3 will suit your requirements.
Thanks so much for the advice, really appreciate it. Looking forward to receiving the samples I ordered today so I can take a proper look. Is there much difference between the Italian and Signature ranges in Distinctive?
They're both in registered embossed, both have a domestic g'tee for 20yrs, both are bevelled etc, the only difference is Italian planks are just over 7" wide and signature is 9" wide, same length which is 48".
Hi Adam, if you're about, could you let me know how long it takes for the Distinctive samples to be shipped? Have received samples from Karndean but nothing from Distinctive yet unfortunately. Really keen to see them in reality as I'm hoping they'll be what we're after. Prefer the texture of the Karndean Van Gogh to the da Vinci but really want a bevel! Hoping Distinctive will come up trumps!
Nicola, when did you order them, it's usually a few days depending on internal sickness or holidays etc.
