    Hello everybody
    Thanks for reading this

Basically i'm redoing my bathroom, and the chipboard underneath was all rotten, so i ripped it up, threw it away.

I then painted the wooden beams with Bostik Damp-proofer + waterproofer. (like a black rubber bitumen paint )

My question is this, can i paint my chipboard with this stuff, or is it going to go all funny?

Also i don't know if my chipboard is water resist or not, it seems like it isn't because i saw some today online that are green
I will be laying vinyl on top of the chipboard, will this be enough to keep the chipboard good?

So really i need to know, paint the chipboard or not?
    thanks for the help!

Why don't you just use ply instead of chipboard?
