Hi everyone, I found this forum whilst trying to decide which LVT to choose. Could anyone help please? I am after a wood plank effect, bevelled edges looking as realist as possible. I like Moduleos verdun oak but the colour I am after is so pale and appears very smooth ( think its no 24232) that I am concerned that it will not look fairly realistic. Also it will run from the kitchen to the diner to the living area so has to be tough and difficult resistant to things dropping on it, such as the odd bit of crockery or cutlery. I hav tried the drop test as I call it and it does mark a bit, so if this is inevitable is there a way of repairing it or disguising it? Any ideas of other manufacturers with good looking wood LVT, that doesn't look like a photo printed onto the backing board would be greatly appreciated. I am after 60 square mtr. so hopefully something not in the top price bracket. There seems to be lots of negativie comments on certain manufacturers on other review pages, and its hard to tell if thats because people only complain ifsomthing goes wrong.I find myself in rather a muddle over what to choose. Any input would be appreciated, thank you
Moduleo or distinctive would be my recommendation. Fitted loads and never had any issues Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Hi, thanks. I will have a look at distinctive. I've not come across it yet. The fitting of the floor appears to be as important as the product itself. Also getting different views as to which adhesives to use. I guess if the fitter uses the company's recommended one there should be no problem.
Uzin ke66 is the best adhesive to use by far You want to be looking at the Mflor Destinctive do Signature range is very realistic Some nice colours
Thanks Spacey and merit. 2 people recommend it so I will def.go look. I have found a supplier near me. Thanks for adhesive recommendation too.
Hi Anne take a look at our Italian or signature ranges, you will not be disappointed. Thanks spacey and Merritt for the recommendation
Thanks did go and look, liked what I saw, but the shop I looked in was in complete disarray, they couldnt find the samples, kept saying they were in a transition period! Rrp prices hidden away behind other boards. Rather a shambles, seem to want me to look at Amtico( massive stand = maybe makes more money from Amtico) . Don't want Amtico, feel I am paying for the advertising. Anyway, not to be outdone I shall approach another dealer nearby ( who has been recommended to my by a neighbour) and hopefully get a more balanced approach.
Where you based anne? I'm more than happy to have a word amongst the team and get a recommendation for a suitable supportive partner of ours ?
Hi I am in Sheffield, happy to travel to look at the right stuff. Would prefer that to a home visit as I would feel under an obligation to someone who has made the effort to get to me, but thankyou for the offer.
Send your details to [email protected] and advise that you are looking to connect with a recommended retailer etc, it will then get passed onto the local rep and he will get somebody in touch with you,
