50 years experience doesn't mean they've been doing right for 50 years. Get some pictures of work they can prove was there's or search them online and see some reviews and jobs they have completed. Good luck. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
I think the fitter after 20 or 30 years of experience starting to get it worse on the fitting . Vision problem, slow, lazy.
Haha, that's what I tell the old git I have to work with sometimes Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
50 years experience? Are they sure after 12 years doing flooring I wanna nearly retire for health reasons- knee , back and ankle I'm not sure anyone would be able to fit that long
I'm 61 this year I'm always looking to improve my fitting and always learning some old fitters are ok .
61....fair play to you for sticking at it. ....come on then, pics of your oldest tool (and I dont mean that one either) I used to subby to a firm with a fitter approaching 63 and some of his fitting tools had me memorised, some looked pure old skool but bomb proof he said. He had numerous antique looking rub down stones and most of them were worn down to a 40 degree angle and he used to sharpen his straights.
